Feuer und Flamme by lwyn Feuer und Flamme by lwyn
The title was the name of the song I was listening to sorry @w@

UNFINISHEDDDDDDDDD DOOOOOOOOOOOODLE IN PENNNNNNN BEFORE IT DIES FROM LACK OF INK

This is what happens when I should be asleep, but I stay awake rocking to 80's German rock and there has been nothing but Sailor Moon and Batman on my dash, IDK OK, my thought processes DIE AFTER 6PM

Ooh, I used to love drawing with a nice, fine-point pen. Lovely lines, as always. And nice cross-hatching. Not everyone pulls that off well.

:iconsobbplz: omg I'm so glad the cross hatching came out ok, I've always seen ppl use that style and never tried it myself TTOTT

I think more ppl should draw in pen!!! Helps build confidence in your lines and structure. Cuz you can't erase (I mean you can use white out but it's ugly)

I agree. I have to say, since I started drawing so much digitally, I have gotten lazy about trying to get things right the first time since it's possible to undo and select and move and resize and so on... But then I realized doing things that way often results in (A) more work and (B) some funky results. So I'm trying to get more right in the sketching stage before I do my digital inking. But since I never plan to every do anything professionally, I figure...no pressure. :)

I think that's why digital is so hard for me, because it IS so easy to just ctrl+Z everything that I feel a lack of responsibility for my lines, so I don't tend to work as hard. I need to disable that or something lol

ha. Yeah, it can be hard to "sketch" properly digitally. I find that the Microsoft OneNote program is unexpectedly good for a sketching feel. You can sketch pretty quickly and naturally as opposed to the standard digital "painting" programs  where I do my inking and coloring work. But yeah, when it comes down to it, you have to ignore that "ctrl z." :)
